Fifth Season of Y.
at H. Begins October 1, 2011
Cats, dogs,
ferrets, rabbits and snakes are just a few favorite
family pets we will study in the fifth season of Young
at HART. YIKES, did I write SNAKES??? Indeed, I did!
Snakes and lizards are always favorite subjects for the
4 to 11 year olds that attend the class. (However, moms
usually aren't quite as enthusiastic when they hear
pleas for a companion snake at home!) Our goal this year
is to get children to think out of the box when
considering the perfect pet for them.
The first
Saturday of each month, we will explore one or more pet
possibilities while admiring it firsthand. Crafts,
snacks, animal visits and story time will follow. The
two hour class, which begins at 9:00 a.m., will kick-off
on the first Saturday in October and culminate at HART's
Companion Walk in May.
