Looking for birds raised with loving
care? From time to time I have birds available which have been hatched
and raised in a home environment. Below are the birds I have available
now. Please research the species of bird you intend to bring home, being
prepared for a new pet is the best thing you can do for them!
English Budgies are
social birds and do best in groups of two or more, with the ratio being
more males than females. As you can see they look a lot like parakeets,
but the English Budgies are larger and have larger crowns. They are also
calmer and more docile. They are always chirping and singing and can
become quite loud. They require a minimum cage size for 1 bird is
18x18x18." Minimum size for 2 birds is 30x18x18." Remember the
bigger the better and wider is better than taller. They also needs toys
and various sized perches to keep them happy and healthy. They eat
parakeet seed and also need some veggies and fruits in their diet. As a
treat millet can be fed. They will also need a cuttlebone in their cage.

These tiny
finches are such a delight to watch and listen to. They are a very fast
and flighty bird and can be tamed, but takes a lot of patience. They require a minimum cage size of 18 inches square for a
pair of finches. Zebras don't generally play with most toys the way
parakeets do, but there are a few which they enjoy. They like small
bird toys which have brightly colored beads and also appreciate treat
dishes with mirrors and beads. They also need grit and a cuttlebone.
They eat a finch seed mix, veggies and fruits and enjoy millet as a
treat.
