| Dear Friends at
HART,
Just a quick
note to let you know how things are going at HART and
about my new promotion. I have been busy getting trained
so I can help my mom, Donna, when she goes to schools,
public events and anywhere else we are invited.
Guess what
folks… I have been officially named HART’s canine
representative. Well, I must confess, I have to share
this title with another canine that they say is just as
wonderful as I am. Wouldn’t you know my co-worker is one
of the same kind I share my house with… a Chihuahua.
“Pistol Pete,”
as they call him, is very good with the children also.
Our moms had t-shirts made for us, and we are ready to
go. I have visited with a group of church youth
volunteers at the shelter, went to the walk, and
attended Safety Town at the Nisswa School. Pistol Pete
has also attended Safety Town at the Baxter School, and
he has visited daycares and school classrooms.
I hear that I
will be penning the Christmas letter again this year
with co-author “Miss Sassafras,” the shelter cat. Watch
for this letter to hit your mail box about mid December.
Stop by the
shelter if you have a chance and visit with all the
folks waiting for their forever homes. Some days they
get depressed and need an extra pat and hug.
